This cozy piece is pigmented with hand-made natural pigments. Some of them are from plants in my garden or from foraged materials, others from purchased powdered pigments. The sides of the panel are painted so that the piece doesn’t need to be framed.

Handmade natural inks (Logwood, Safflower, Madder root) on handwoven Arches watercolor paper, acrylic paint on panel.
