Proud Voices

475.00

This piece came from a fierce desire to protect my friends and loved ones in the LGBTQIA community. In this piece, the voice of this community is getting squeezed on all sides by angry conservatism and traditionalism. My dad described it well - he said it reminded him of a pride parade winding it's way through an angry crowd.

Embroidery floss, wool and cotton yarns, reclaimed fabric on canvas.

12 inches squared.

Half of the profits from this piece are going to two organizations:

Family Equality Council: $ 114 (1/4 of profits)
Human Rights Campaign: $114 (1/4 of profits)

This piece has shown at the McGuffey Art Center.

Shipping within the U.S.A is included in this price. For international shipping, the artist will contact you with any additional fees.
