The pigments in this piece were made by hand from plants in my garden or from foraged materials, others from purchased powdered pigments. The sides of the panel are painted so that the piece doesn’t need to be framed.

Handmade natural inks (Indigo, Hardy Hibiscus, Purple Pincushion and Cosmos) on handwoven Arches watercolor paper, acrylic paint on panel.
